The George ‘Georgie’ Swartz Scholarship has been established to honor George
Swartz who passed away from Cerebral Palsy at the young age of 12. Georgie
impacted the lives of all those that had the honor to meet him. He will forever be
remembered for his strong heart and will to fight. In Georgie’s honor, the Wamesit
Friends and Family Foundation will recognize a student with physical/cognitive
disabilities, who has demonstrated Georgie’s strength and positivity, in furtherance
of his/her educational goals.
